ULUATUS

This artwork communicates deeply with the piece “Boadicea”, also created by the artist. Both were inspired by reading “Women Who Run with the Wolves” by Clarissa Pinkola Estés. This piece represents the primal scream of women who, stifled by society, rediscover their instincts, sixth sense and wild spirit, employing the outline stitch dating back to the first Arraiolos stitch tapestries of the 16th century.
