PLAY WITH ME #1

This artwork takes the artist back to her childhood, to the times of play and family gatherings around board games. Metaphorically, this piece aims to question the choices we have to make throughout our lives, while simultaneously challenging us to consider our free will. Let us imagine a roulette of dreams and fantasies where each section offers us a possibility for our life, do we accept what we are given, or do we choose our own direction? This artwork invites reflection on these choices, employing the outline stitch dating back to the first Arraiolos stitch tapestries of the 16th century.
