HIDE & SEEK

This piece celebrates female courage, encouraging the escape from discomfort and from what does not belong to the woman, urging her to leap towards newness and growth. Similar to the warrior queen Boadicea, the woman depicted here is portrayed as a figure of courage and determination, a force to be acknowledged and honored, employing the outline stitch dating back to the first Arraiolos stitch tapestries of the 16th century.
